Castle Eerde near Hotel de Zon

In the category of things to do in Ommen: take a peek inside. Not only impressive from the outside, surrounded by stately avenues and a beautiful castle garden with a flower mosaic and orchard, but also inside, you'll feel the grandeur of the past. The real showpieces are the floating staircase in the hall - the only one in the Netherlands - the impressive handmade wall tapestries, and the marble floors.
